Simon Dale

Simon has more than 20 years’ experience in the retail financial services industry, beginning with client-focused roles at Prudential Property Services and then Schroders. In 1996, Simon joined GT Global / LGT Asset Management and remained with the company (which changed through acquisition to Invesco and then Invesco Perpetual) for almost seventeen years. Simon progressed through a variety of sales roles to his final position as UK sales manager. He left Invesco Perpetual to take on a new challenge as Head of European Business Development at Matthews Asia. In 2014, he joined Woodford Investment Management as Head of Retail Sales.

Will Hitchcock

Will is a Business Administration graduate from Nottingham Trent Business School. Will joined the industry in 2002, taking on a role in the Private Client & Institutional Division at Singer & Friedlander. This was followed by ten years as part of the Retail sales team at Invesco Perpetual, most recently as National Discretionary Sales Manager. He joined Woodford Investment Management in 2014.

Kristian Penttila

Kristian holds a degree in English Language & Linguistics from Essex University. His first industry role was in the UK Retail Sales team at Schroder Investment Management, which he left in 2004 to spend 10 years in the Retail sales team at Invesco Perpetual, latterly as National Discretionary Sales Manager. Kristian joined Woodford Investment Management in 2014.

Ross Lamacraft

Ross served for two years as a pilot in the Royal Air Force after completing a degree in management science at Southampton University. His career in sales began in Retail, with the move to financial services following in 2006 when he joined Invesco Perpetual. During his eight years with the organisation, Ross held the roles of Business Development Manager and Nationals & Networks Sales Manager. Ross joined the Woodford team in 2014.

Steve Baxter

After graduating from Northumbria University in 1997 with a degree in International Business Studies and Russian language, Steve’s first financial services role was as a graduate trainee with Royal & Sun Alliance. Moves to the sales teams at Aviva and AIG followed and Steve spent the last seven years working as a Regional Sales Manager at Invesco Perpetual. Steve joined Woodford Investment Management in 2014.

William Deer

Will graduated from Edinburgh University with a degree in Business Studies in 1998. He joined the graduate training programme of HSBC in the same year and an initial role in equity analysis was followed by a move into institutional equity sales. This institutional focus continued in Will’s next role at ABN AMRO. In 2006 he joined Invesco Perpetual as UK Product Director, working closely with Neil Woodford and responsible for articulating portfolio strategies and pitching for new institutional mandates. Will moved to Woodford Investment Management in 2014.

Samuel described the decision to join the Woodford team in 2016 as “the opportunity to be part of a business looking to challenge an industry and drive its future for the benefit of clients”.
